Love is not a relationship.

Love is not attachment.

Love is not passion.

Love is not desire.

Love is not looking into someone’s eyes and falling head over heels for them.

It's not any of these things. BUT, it is all of these things.

Life is a paradox.. so don't get so attached to the literal.

Real Love, unconditional Love, is an energy field of pure creation, vibrating at the highest frequency. Some might call it God, Source, Great Spirit, or 'I am' presence. Quantum physicists would call it the unified field or non-locality. It's the energy that holds this whole reality together. The cool thing is that we can connect to this energy field. In fact, we are already connected to this field, we just forget. And, the stories of fear we tell ourselves creates the illusion of separation.

This is what all of the sages, mystics and enlightened ones from throughout time have figured out. We are all one, connected through a field of love and possibility. Separation is the real illusion. The stories that divide us, tell us that we are different, that we should fear one another, are what get in the way of experiencing what true, creative love actually is.

If you’re looking to dive deeper into the understanding of love as an energy field, check out The Mastery of Love, by Don Miguel Ruiz. This is a simple, small book, and an easy read, that has had a profound impact on how I relate to those I love, and more importantly, how I choose to love myself. I think the world would be a far better place if everyone read this book and really understood its principles.

quote fom the mastery of love book

"[37] Jesus said unto him, 'Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,'

[38] This is the first and great commandment.

[39] And the second is like unto it, 'Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.'

[40] On these two Commandments hang all the law and the prophets."

Bible, KJV - Matt 22: 37-40

This was the teaching of Jesus as well. Love is One, One is Love.
